Airbound builds lightweight autonomous vertical-takeoff delivery aircraft and the software and operations to move packages for healthcare, e-commerce, retailers and logistics providers.
Airbound is tackling the cost and infrastructure limits that keep aerial delivery from matching roads: its blended-wing-body tailsitter launches vertically, is designed to carry a payload close to its own weight, and can operate without runways or ground infrastructure.
