Altay Therapeutics develops oral small-molecule inhibitors of disease-driving transcription factors for patients with serious, underserved diseases, including FSHD, cancer and chronic inflammatory diseases.
Transcription factors regulate many disease pathways but have historically been difficult to drug, and Altay says its platform identifies dynamic binding pockets to create selective small-molecule inhibitors, including an oral DUX4 program for FSHD and a STAT3 program for inflammatory disease and cancer.
