Atlas Bio runs in-silico clinical trials using a foundation AI model of human biology to predict and compare patient responses for biopharma teams deciding what treatments, indications, or assets to advance.
Atlas is targeting a costly bottleneck in drug development: the company says Phase II trials can cost more than $100 million, take two to three years, and see around 70% of drugs fail, while animal models are a poor proxy for human biology. Its model is trained on roughly 2 million human RNA readouts and can run 12-week virtual trials across patient profiles, and the $12.5 million raised is intended to scale validation, scientific and commercial teams, and enterprise-client onboarding.
