August Robotics builds autonomous robot fleets and a shared robotics platform that automate repetitive, dirty, dangerous and dull work for construction, exhibition, industrial fit-out and infrastructure businesses.
August Robotics is applying a common autonomy, planning and fleet-management platform to labor-intensive physical workflows where manual work is slow, risky and increasingly constrained, and its Lionel robot has marked more than 300 million square feet for clients on five continents while the newer drilling fleets target schedule-critical data-center construction. The $30 million Series B led by Big Pi Ventures is intended to scale production, deployments, AI and new products across seven global hubs, making the bet that specialized robots can become reliable infrastructure for construction, exhibitions and industrial operations.
