Synthetic nitrogen fertilizer can be lost to air and water, while BioConsortia's Always N and related products aim to help crops fix nitrogen and maintain yields with less synthetic fertilizer, using biologicals designed for long shelf life and life on treated seed. The commercial bet is gaining traction: the company says Always N adoption with H&T rose from about 5% in 2024 to about 50% in 2025, with about 80% projected for 2026, and its latest $15 million equity investment is funding manufacturing, regulatory and commercial infrastructure for global launches.
