Blackswan Space says the growing number of satellites and other space infrastructure cannot all be controlled from the ground, while autonomy can reduce satellite-operations costs and enable inspection, servicing, debris removal, and other in-orbit work. The €760k pre-seed, added to self-funding, R&D grants, and ESA contracts, matters because the company said it would use the money to expand engineering, accelerate product development and commercial activity, and prepare for in-orbit demonstrations.
