Blue Fire AI builds Emmalyn, a neuro-symbolic AI investment framework that helps large institutions and asset managers research companies and make active investment decisions.
Asset managers are under pressure from fee compression, shrinking margins and the difficulty of finding differentiated returns, while Blue Fire AI says its neuro-symbolic system can perform bottom-up fundamental research at scale and has a seven-year live investment track record. Its latest $9 million funding round includes a minority investment from Asset Management One, which manages more than $500 billion and plans to distribute Blue Fire AI-powered products in Japan, giving the technology a major institutional route to market.
