Clockwork.io builds software-driven AI-fabric software that gives enterprise and cloud GPU operators observability and fault tolerance so training, inference, and reinforcement-learning workloads keep running through infrastructure failures.
Large distributed AI jobs run thousands of GPUs in lockstep, so a failed GPU, link, or server can stall the whole job, leave healthy GPUs idle, and force up to 90 minutes of recovery plus repeated computation. Clockwork says its latest $31 million round will accelerate fault-tolerance deployment across training, inference, and reinforcement learning, while LinkedIn reports that the software prevents tens of thousands of GPU-hours of downtime each month and Together AI and WhiteFiber are expanding adoption.
