Darkhive builds U.S.-made autonomous drones, secure software, and related mission systems for military and public-safety operators.
Darkhive is addressing the gap it identifies between inexpensive foreign drones with cybersecurity vulnerabilities and secure U.S.-made systems that are often expensive or difficult to use, using open-architecture hardware and software to give operators adaptable situational awareness. Its $30 million Series B followed a $49.7 million APFIT award—the program's largest—and is intended to accelerate scalable production and delivery of software-defined mission systems to U.S. forces.
