EA Foods addresses Tanzania's fragmented farm-to-market chain, where middlemen, weak logistics and limited cold storage contribute to high prices, post-harvest losses and lower smallholder incomes, by aggregating directly from farmers and supplying urban businesses. Its latest announcement says the company raised USD 40 million, including USD 26 million in Series B equity led by PIDG's InfraCo alongside Oikocredit and FMO, to expand processing, storage, logistics and digital infrastructure and move into Kenya.
