  Formerly at Google Brain and DeepMind, he developed foundational techniques behind modern large language models, co-led early mixture-of-experts models including GLaM, and led Gemini data work and co-led PaLM 2 pretraining.
• Yinfei Yang · Co-Founder & Chief Multimodal Architect
  Formerly at Apple and Google Research, she led Apple's multimodal foundation-model work and co-created Google's ALIGN image-language pretraining model, while co-leading embedding models including USE and LaBSE.
• Seth Neel · Co-Founder & Member of Technical Staff
  Formerly a Harvard professor researching data-centric generative AI and a Google Research/Gemini Data researcher, he was also co-founder and CTO of an ML energy startup with more than 100 FTEs and holds a UPenn PhD and Harvard mathematics background.
