Enact Intelligence builds robots that go beyond vision by sensing force and touch through a whole-body proprioceptive system, for industrial tasks and other real-world work.
Most robots rely mainly on vision, which makes fine manipulation unreliable, while existing force-and-touch solutions are described as too expensive or fragile for industrial deployment; Enact is combining actuators, sensors, data pipelines and AI models to help robots learn and perform physical tasks reliably. Its $30 million pre-seed, backed by redalpine, Notion Capital, firstminute capital and prominent AI and robotics angels, is intended to expand the team, accelerate hardware and R&D, and deploy first robots with industrial partners.
