Enveda is tackling the slow, expensive work of identifying and characterizing molecules in nature by combining mass spectrometry, machine learning, and automated experiments, and says its platform has produced 17 development candidates, three of which are in human trials. The latest financing is intended to move three clinical-stage medicines into later-stage development and bring additional inflammatory and metabolic medicines into trials, making the bet that AI can turn previously inaccessible life chemistry into a repeatable pipeline of medicines.
