  Before Familiar, Elizabeth co-founded and led Science Exchange as CEO from 2011 through its acquisition in 2024; she also earned a PhD in Cancer Biology from the Institute of Cancer Research in London and held postdoctoral and assistant-professor roles at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
• Dan Knox · Co-founder & COO
  Before Familiar, Dan co-founded Science Exchange and built its operating model through its acquisition in 2024; he holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, an MSc in Economics from the University of London, and a BCom (Hons) in Economics and an LLB in Law from the University of Otago.

Familiar licenses veterinary rights to human drug candidates, leads their animal clinical development, manufacturing, regulatory approval and commercialization, and shares veterinary-sales economics with originating partners.
