HEO uses cameras on existing satellites and its own sensors, plus software and AI, to photograph and analyze other objects in orbit for governments and satellite operators.

• Dr Hiranya Jayakody · Co-Founder & CTO
  Before HEO, he was a researcher at UNSW Sydney working on computer vision and machine learning for agriculture and robust control of aerial vehicles and space robots, after earning a PhD in mechatronics engineering from UNSW and a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.

Business model

Customers can buy pre-existing satellite images through HEO Inspect, book custom satellite inspections, contract HEO to analyze non-Earth imagery, or purchase HEO's cameras to mount on their own satellites.
