Hivebotics builds autonomous bathroom-cleaning robots for commercial facilities and the facility managers who operate them.
Hivebotics is tackling restroom cleaning, a repetitive and labor-intensive job that facilities operators struggle to staff, with Abluo, which cleans toilets, urinals, sinks and floors and records before-and-after results. Its US$6 million Series A is intended to move the robot from pilots into volume production and international distribution after nearly 10,000 operating hours across more than 20 sites, testing whether this focused entry point can grow into autonomous facilities management.
