Founders

• Dr. Christian Schmierer · Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
  He earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 2019, worked at the German Aerospace Center from 2014 to 2018 on rocket-vehicle system analysis, and had been developing, building and launching hybrid sounding rockets since 2012.
• Dr. Mario Kobald · Co-Founder, Board Member & Managing Director
  He earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 2015, worked at the DLR Institute of Space Propulsion from 2010, and managed the University of Stuttgart HyEnD hybrid sounding-rocket project from 2012 to 2016.
• Konstantin Tomilin · Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
  He earned a diploma in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 2014 and had been developing, building and launching hybrid sounding rockets there since 2012, working on recovery systems, hybrid propulsion systems and airframes.
• Ulrich Fischer · Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
  He earned a diploma in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 2014 and had been working on hybrid rocket propulsion and lightweight rocket structures while developing, building and launching hybrid sounding rockets at the University of Stuttgart since 2012.
