INLEAP Photonics builds ultra-fast, high-precision laser systems for safer drone defence and more efficient industrial manufacturing.
INLEAP is addressing a stated gap in drone defence: existing systems can be too slow, imprecise, costly or unsuitable for urban environments, while its eye-safe FASTLIGHT SHIELD aims to intercept drones quickly without ammunition and its industrial technology can improve laser-based manufacturing. The approximately €20 million seed, following a 2025 pre-seed, is being used to standardize series production, testing, quality assurance, sales and service, and certifications as the research spinout moves toward scaled defence and critical-infrastructure deployment.
