Spacecraft need reliable, higher-power subsystems, but the industry has historically depended on bespoke, high-cost and low-volume systems and vertical integration. MP Space says its hardware has been designed into more than 500 spacecraft and is in orbit on multiple spacecraft, while its AU$23M seed round is intended to scale Australian manufacturing, broaden its power-system platforms and expand the engineering team.
