OSCP designs and manufactures compact photonic gyroscopes and inertial measurement units for vehicles, robots and other platforms that need to navigate when GNSS is jammed, degraded or unavailable.
OSCP is addressing navigation in places where jamming, spoofing, tunnels, mines, warehouses or other conditions make GNSS unreliable, using chip-based photonic sensing to target low-drift performance in a smaller, lower-power package than traditional optical gyroscopes. Its June 2024 release reported $1.2 million in seed funding plus $4.2 million in earlier grants ($5.4M in total funding), while the October 2026 Series A led by New Science Ventures is intended to scale Montréal production and expand engineering and sales.
