SL Materials turns concrete from demolition sites into new low-carbon concrete and recovered sand, gravel, and cement for construction companies and developers.
Concrete production consumes scarce sand and gravel, while cement is a major source of global carbon emissions and demolition concrete is often downcycled into low-value road fill. The €100 million 2026 commitment matters because it is funding expansion of SL Materials’ Zaandam operations, new European production sites, and further development of its Smart Liberator and Smart Refiner technology.
