Solcoa makes the rare earth metals inside every electric motor, generator, and fighter jet on Earth.
Solcoa is attacking a bottleneck in the mine-to-magnet chain: its pages say China controls about 95% of global rare-earth metallization capacity and describe legacy processes as costly, hazardous, and hard to permit. The $75 million financing backs a step from more than 10 tonnes per year of Alameda output to a planned 500-tonne-per-year Nevada plant, giving U.S. auto, robotics, electrification, and defense manufacturers a domestic source ahead of 2027 procurement restrictions.
