Victory Farms is a vertically integrated Kenyan fish farm that produces and sells affordable tilapia to mass-market consumers through market women, owned branches and a cold chain.
Victory Farms is tackling East Africa's fish and protein supply gap by vertically integrating hatcheries, ponds, lake cages, processing and cold-chain distribution, while its 15,000+ market-women buyers resell affordable fish and fish consumption in Rongo increased four-fold after supply became available. Its $35 million Series B, led by Creadev, is funding expansion in Kenya and Rwanda and potential entry into Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania, with the company saying the financing enables 100 million high-quality protein meals annually.
